Outlook For Mac 2016 Sync Errors Won%27t Stop

Quick Ways to Stop Receiving Duplicate Emails in Outlook. Adom November 15th, 2019 0 Comments. Receiving duplicate mails is a very common problem in Outlook. Sometimes it is because of the settings, at times because of the technical complexities. This problem is very annoying. May 03, 2019 Reindexing is indeed the nuclear option. It’s the last stop when Mail is so unresponsive that it barely works, the search function is not correctly working, or the Mail app won’t launch at all. So again, tread with care. To ReIndex Mac Mail. Quit Mail App; On your Desktop create a folder named OLDMailData; Go to Finder; From Finder Menu Bar. If so, your local PST file might have reached its maximum size, which can cause errors or prevent GSSMO from syncing with G Suite. By default, Outlook limits the size of a local PST file to 20 GB (for Outlook 2007) or 50 GB (for Outlook 2010, 2013, 2016, or 2019). Thunderbird has an option to view file size of the emails and we realized that our users that were having sync issues also received some emails almost 50 MB, and outlook has a limit of 20MB!!! So this effectively broke the IMAP account within Outlook. It wouldn't download the email with the attachment at all.
